The
KFUPE PAC is intended to provide financial support and an important
endorsement to candidates who support PUBLIC EDUCATION. Public Education
is the most vital priority for Kansas families and the future of
Kansas.
School Districts across the state are continuing to face challenges in providing a quality and equitable education for EVERY child
due to the lack of funding from the state and federal governments.
In addition three seats held by the moderate majority of the State Board of Education members will be up for election in 2008. It will be devastating if we do not hang on to our victories of 2006. Let's not return the board to conservatives and the days of Bob Corkis. Let's keep the common sense and dignity we restored to our State Board of Education.
We have for too long tolerated elected officials who either openly
oppose funding education, or provide lip service but come up short
when it is time to fund our schools. It is time to replace these officials.
Please join us in our efforts to maintain the hope, quality and future
that public education provides for all Kansans, young and old alike.

we hope - is confined to making a financial contribution, we've
added the 'DONATE' link at the left of the navigation bar above.
Click on it and you'll be taken to a page headlined “DONATE." From
there, you'll be sent to "JOIN NOW!" where you'll find
a PayPal button that will allow you to contribute to our KFUPE
PAC or click on the 'CONTACT' button to make your monthly pledge.
And you'll find several other options for financially supporting
